Esclarecimento sobre Fractais

interessante ainda:

A physicist Jean Perrin tried to measure the velocity which is the derivative of the particle's position with respect to time, but found that the velocity of the particle "varies in the wildest way in magnitude and direction, and does not tend to a limit as the time taken for an observation decreases"

and also said that "nature contains suggestions of non-differentiable as well as differentiable processes".

o que chamou a atenção aqui foi as limitações das derivadas, o uso de fractais e sua característca infinita, sobre funções não diferenciáveis. Por coincidência chegou o Livro de Jean Perrin "Les Atomes" esta semana dia 20.02.2014

E assim vai-se juntando os cacos e tentar entender todas essas coisas, ou parte delas: os diversos tipos de matemática, onde se aplicam, a interpretação das coisas (funções) o contexto em que foram criados. É como um jogo onde se passa de fase ao se entender um pouco. Esta leitura é complementar ao artigo "e" and the Binomial Theorem onde relaciona o número "e" com permutação, combinação, Binômio de Newton, logaritmos.
